The lineup for Bonaroo 2012 was announced this week and features four acts with Philadelphia ties. The Roots, The War on Drugs, Kurt Vile & the Violators and Major Lazer (featuring Philly's own favorite Blackberry user Diplo) will all be appearing at 11th version of the massive festival down in the friendly fields and mountains of Tennessee. This year's festival will be June 7th through 10th, once again on farmland outside of Manchester, Tennessee- which if you're curious is about 770 miles from Philadelphia. Google maps says it takes about 13 hours to drive there, 10 days to walk there and three days to bike there...so plan accordingly and regardless, bring an extra pair of shoes.
