Every year Ray's Happy Birthday bar hosts a party to honor the Kentucky Derby. Specials include Gail's very own mint juleps and cucumber sandwiches as well as the bar's year round city-wide. Regulars were dressed to the nines to celebrate. Make it one of your stops for the next Kentucky Derby!

The second edition of "808's" officially jumped off this month, and after the insane premier party in March, everyone came back hungering for more. DJ's Daz-I-Kue & Karl Injex stopped through Silk City to bless this month's MIGHTY! party with DJ Dirty... giving Philly a taste of their nationally known James Brown Tribute night. Armed with a box full of James Brown 7 inch vinyl records, and even more ammo from the Serato, they came prepared to educate and entertain the crowd with classic soul & funk all night.
